Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager of Windows / Virtualization Server Engineering, this position helps identify opportunities and deploy technical solutions that enable improvements to the delivery of patient care and business operations. Works with a cross functional IS team in the delivery of Windows servers and Virtualization, hardware and software solutions and services. Helps support Back-Office applications, as well as storage, as it relates to the Windows environment. May be asked to lead smaller initiatives in this area.
The qualified candidate would be responsible for installing, configuring and supporting Epic client software and infrastructure compenents. The Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) must have a strong Windows Server administration background and an understanding of Epic client connectivity architecture. This would include, but not be limited to HyperDrive, FHIR, MyChart, Epic Hyperspace Web, Epic Interconnect, Epic FIPS servers and Kuiper.
