About ECU Health Chowan Hospital
ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
Position Summary
The Registered Occupational Therapist is responsible for the overall delivery of Occupational therapy services and is accountable for the effectiveness of services. The OTR/L provides supervision to the COTA and works collaboratively during the delivery of services, The OTR/L is responsible for performing patient evaluations, developing interventions and establishing individualized plan of care with input from patient and family.
Minimum Requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Bachelor's Degree or higher
North Carolina Occupational Therapy license
Other Information
Full-time position with benefits
Shift: 8:15 am - 4:45 pm (Monday - Friday)
Outpatient, Pediatrics, Orthopedics and Neuro experience preferred
