Primary responsibility for the position includes program development, process improvement, project management, and metric reporting. Responsible for the daily direction and management of overall Revenue Cycle activities, primarily involving oversight of metrics/KPIs, projects, and processes between the various departments involved in the revenue cycle. Direct and indirect supervision of revenue cycle operational processes; development and implementation of reports and management scorecards; representative of department in health system meetings and committees; overseeing the use of best practices to ensure efficiency. Collaborates and engages with PAS, HIMS, Managed Care, and CBO leaders on work and initiatives as part of the Finance Leadership Team. Performing analysis of government and managed care payers to determine trends and implementing plans of action to address potential issues. The position will be responsible for ensuring compliant and efficient revenue cycle practices are in place to maximize net revenues, which currently exceed $2B annually. The position will focus on oversight and optimization of Revenue Cycle performance scorecards, which will compare KPIs to benchmarks to increase transparency, gain executive buy-in, and identify areas for operational improvement. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining program policies.
