The Assistant Nurse Manager is a professional nurse who demonstrates expertise utilizing the concepts of participative management.
The Assistant Nurse Manager has the responsibility and authority for assisting with operational management of the department. Among these responsibilities are coordinating, evaluating improving nurse care, providing support to the Nurse Manager-OR and assisting the department leadership in promoting safe, cost effective and quality patient care on a daily basis.
BSN is required.
Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required.
3 to 5 years of experience with at least 2 years of recent OR clinical experience with 1 year in cardiac OR specialty required.
American Heart Association - Basic Life Support is required.
