The James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center offers 197 beds and bassinets and an array of specialized services unequaled in eastern North Carolina. Our patient-and-family-centered care philosophy is more than a mantra; it's the guiding force of our efforts and has been for nearly 30 years. It is expressed in tangible ways throughout our recent 78,000-square-foot expansion.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher
• 2 - 4 years experience is required - Previous experience is PICU, NICU and/or Pediatrics
• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state Health Care Provider is required
• Basic Life Support is required

Other Information

• The population cared for by this team consists of neonatal and Pediatric patients from birth to 18 years of age 
• $5.00/hour shift differential added to base pay
