Pharmacists at Vidant Medical Center are committed to the safe and effective use of medications through maximizing drug distribution and optimizing drug therapy outcomes; educating patients, providers, and ourselves on best practices; and fully integrating pharmacists in the continuum of care. This position is a critical care position providing clinical and distributional pharmacy services across 5 adult ICUs and cross-coverage to the Emergency Department on second shift 7 on/7off rotation.
College degree plus other schooling. B.S. or PharmD in pharmacy is required.
Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in North Carolina within 60 days of hire date.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days hire
Hospital experience is preferred.
PGY1 and PGY2 training in critical care or equivalent experience is preferred
