Position Summary

Implement the organization's recruitment strategy so that job vacancies are quickly filled, new team members are smoothly integrated into the organization and the candidates selected best match the needs of the position and the business. Direct the organization's recruitment activities to ensure the best selection for each role and the recruitment process is conducted efficiently, economically and in accordance with the Organization's policies and standards. These activities may include advertising, interviewing, testing, selecting candidates, checking references, negotiating employment offers, relocation, orientation and introductory training. Select and manage ongoing relationships with hiring leaders and recruitment agencies to ensure satisfactory standards of service. Lead, manage, evaluate, and develop a team of recruitment professionals.

Operate with latitude for tactical actions or decisions; often reviews progress with leadership. Plan, conduct and supervise assignments. Review progress and evaluate results. Plan and assign team members for given projects or tasks. Ensures that policies, procedures and practices are followed to support corporate insurance and claims administration. Accountable for a positive organizational culture in decision making and performance management to influence work attitudes and enhance job satisfaction. Key liaison between the leadership teams and team members of the organization and programs.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Human Resources, or higher. 
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Three to four years related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and assume responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of team members.
  • Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to function as a leader, team member and execute the desired outcomes and key performance indicators.
  • Must exhibit creative, positive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to foster collaboration between multiple parties.
  • Ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideas and concepts to groups.
  • Ability to think conceptually and apply concepts in a practical application.
  • Ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources, analyze information, and determines a course of action.
  • Ability to consider diverse opinions and incorporate them into the decision-making process.
  • Commitment to a high standard of customer service.
  • Excellent budgt and financial management skills.
