Overview

This position has an Incentive Bonus. Registered Nurses are eligible for an incentive bonus up to $30,000 for this full time position. In addition to the incentive bonus, new teammates at ECU Health are eligible for robust benefits packages, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates.

The PICU at James and Connie Maynard Hospital is a 12- bed intensive care unit.  The staffing ratio is ideally 1:1, or 1:2 depending on the acuity of the patients.  Our patient population consists of actual or threatened respiratory failure, sever or unstable cardiovascular disease, neurologic disorders, severe metabolic disturbances, sepsis/poisonings, critically injured pediatric trauma victims, hematologic or oncologic disease with actual life-threatening complications and patients needing ECMO or CRRT.

Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher

Bachelors Degree is preferred.

1+ years experience is required.

Preferred experience in Pediatrics, ICU and Emergency Room. 

Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state Health Care Provider is required.

Basic Life Support is required.
