Position Summary

Oversees material management resource functions including acquisition, distribution and inventory maintenance for Anesthesia and Operating Room. Supervises Anesthesia technician functions as well as OR supply clerk personnel. Performs as a facilitator for the supply chain continuum.

Responsible for the day to day supply and distribution of material resources, procurement of special equipment needs, processing and tracking service contracts, responsible for processing capital requisitions, planning, coordinating and completing year end inventory for both Anesthesia and OR. Responsible for implementing recall of items within the unit and documenting and maintaining accurate records of recalled items and for maintaining records of repairs/maintenance of equipment.

Enforces compliance with vendor policy and procedures. Contributes to policy development for materials issues and job scope of personnel supervised.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three to four years related experience
