About ECU Health Duplin Hospital

ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.

Position Summary

Under supervision of the Manager of Rehabilitation, the Physical Therapy Assistant provides safe, expedient, cost-effective therapeutic care. As a member of a team of health care professionals, Physical Therapy Assistant performs physical therapy treatments and related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant by the N.C. Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
  • Associate Degree or higher

  • PRN (as needed)
  • Physical Therapy (Wallace) Department
