Position Summary

  • The Talent Pipeline Consultant serves as a strategic business partner responsible for designing and executing strategic and comprehensive talent and workforce development initiatives to effectively identify, attract, qualify, recruit, hire and retain talent to meet current and projected needs of the organization.

  • This position partners with internal and external partners to help build a talented, equitable and diverse workforce.

  • Partners with assigned department, community clients and other areas of Human Resources to design/ implement effective and creative workforce and recruitment plans.

  • Responsible for facilitating and processing internal and external employment transitions across our Vidant Talent Pipelines, ensuring Vidant Health delivers a positive candidate and leadership experience for each community organization and candidate.

Minimum Requirements

  • College Degree (4 yrs) - Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Five (5) or more years' experience in Talent Acquisition, Workforce Development or Inclusion & Equity.
  • Experience in developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes to improve outcomes (decreased time to fill, increased quality of hire, etc.) required.
  • Previous experience as a change agent, comfortable with ambiguity, in a fast-paced business environment required.
  • Analytical ability combined with sound practical judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Previous experience successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders with a consistent track record of delivering on- time, high quality results.
  • Previous experience operating in a consultative and/or advisory capacity preferred.
  • Previous experience in executive search strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in health care, pharmaceuticals, health insurance or related industry preferred.
