Position Summary
A Polysomnography Technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A Polysomnography Technologist is able to perform the duties defined and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff.
Minimum Requirements
High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or education is required.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
Registered as RPSGT with North Carolina Medical Board
CPR Certified
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
