Position Summary

Primary duties will be related to community COVID initiatives both within and external of the organization. Responsible for creating the first impression of the organization's services to patients and families and other external customers.

Work in a COVID related role within the Vidant Health System, in varying settings that may include regional medical clinic settings, office environments, mobile testing sites, laboratory settings, and/or hospital settings. Support Vidant's mission to meet the needs of region wide communities in response to the COVID pandemic, related resources, testing initiatives, treatment options, and vaccination initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent (or greater) is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required:
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and weather variations
Work independently with minimal direct supervision
Run or move quickly during the course of a shift
Stand at a post for an extended period of time without sitting
Read and comprehend signage text, computer screens, and mobile device screens
Operate a Thermal/Handheld scanner
Provide private screening communications in accordance to HIPAA guidelines NC driver's license if required for position job responsibilities

Additional requirements are listed below if hired for specific roles listed:

Laboratory Technician/Assistant - 1 year of formal training or 1 year of education in the Medical or Computer Science field

Certified Nursing Assistant - AHA BLS, NA I or NA I/NA II program completed with active state licensure

Ambulatory Care Tech - Must have High School Diploma or equivalent, successful completion of EMT-Basic, EMT-Intermediate, or EMT Paramedic program in the state of North Carolina, and carrying a current certification
