Vidant Medical Center is a 900+ bed Level-1 Trauma Center, regional referral hospital and is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health. We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Vidant Medical Center provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient services to more than 1.4 million people in 29 counties. Position Summary

Collaborates with Manager to achieve program objectives and overall program mission. Assists with the development and planning of programs to support the department. Develops relationships with and acts as a liaison to internal and external contacts. Assists with data collection, data entry and other computer needs supporting department objectives as appropriate. Attends staff meetings and assists program staff to meet department needs.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or equivalent is required. Additional training may be required.
  • One year of progressively related experience, beyond three years may be substituted for 1 year of the required education, with a maximum substitution of two years.
  • 2 - 3 years experience is required.

Other Information

  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel Program.
  • Must have the ability to maintain/manipulate data and records.
  • Oversee employee time records for payroll purposes.
  • Hours are 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (is the standard shift).
