Position Summary

• Delivers care to the patient prior to, during, and immediately following the HBO treatment
• Will also assist in dressing and treatment of wounds when necessary
• Maintains the integrity of the equipment by keeping up to date with service
• Will also clean the machine prior to and after each patient
•  Collaborates effectively with customers and their families, keeping them up to date on what is being done. Also collaborates with other staff members and physicians within the facility
• Keeps track of necessary inventory and orders more product when necessary

Minimum Requirements

High School plus 1 year but less than 2 years of formal
training or education. Specify: LPN or RT

Registration or Certification:
Hyperbaric Technologist certificate is required. Current license or certification is required in one of the following areas: 1) National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, 2) Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, 3) Respiratory Therapy Technician, 4) Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), 5) Registered Nurse, 6) Emergency Medical Technician, 7) Certified Hyperbaric Technologist.

Option to obtain certificate for hyperbaric technician as a condition of employment prior to the opening of the Center.
