ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
A Radiologic Tech-CT is responsible for the operation of CT imaging equipment and for performing examinations. The CT Technologist demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age, disease process and cultural/spiritual needs of the patient in a variety of clinical settings.
Current R.T.R. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technolgist (A.R.R.T.).
Registered Radiology Technologist or Registry Eligible with RT(R) credential obtained within 12 months from hire date or registry eligibility status.
CT experience required.
American Heart Association issued CPR Healthcare Provider Certification. If not current at time of hire, must complete within first 6 months of employment and maintain.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
