About ECU Health Physicians

ECU Health Physicians is multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.

Position Summary

  • Prepare patient specimens as required for laboratory testing.
  • Perform laboratory tests.
  • Monitor test results to assure test quality and validity.
  • Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient.
  • Maintain properly documented records of activities.
  • Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or education.
  • ASCP or HEW eligibility required.
