Position Summary
The Inpatient Skin and Wound Program Nurse provides direct patient care and serves as a clinical resource/ consultant for patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems. The Inpatient Skin and Wound Program Nurse should be prepared to provide the full scope of enterostomal therapy nursing practice, including education, counseling, research and administration.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required, MSN is preferred.
3 to 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
MSN may be substituted for 1 year of experience.
Current RN licensure is required.
Current Wound and Ostomy certification by the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) is preferred.
