ECU Health Medical Center, one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina, is the 974-bed flagship hospital for ECU Health and serves as the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Responsibilities

PROVIDES AGE SPECIFIC DIRECT PATIENT CARE ACCORDING TO UNIT SCOPE OF SERVICE

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient.

• Assesses Patients
• Develops a Plan of Care
• Implements Patient Care
• Evaluates and Revises Patient Care
• Participates in Quality Improvement Activities
• Participates in Educaation of Self and Others
• Provides Leadership
• Demonstrates Support of Research
   

Minimum Requirements

Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or temporary North Carolina licensure or meet requirements to hold RN licensure in a compact state.
