Position Summary
The Referral Coordinator must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to coordinate operations of the referral processes, including, but not limited to pre-certifications, and scheduling appointments. Coordinate operations and processes of the Urgent Care Center-Nags Head. Office equipment operation and additional duties as required by the office manager.
Minimum Requirements
High School + 1-2 years formal training/education. CPT and ICD-9/10 coding knowledge preferred. Must know medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
1-3 years related work experience. Must possess computer skills, with Excel and Word knowledge/experience.
Other Information
Full time with benefits - 32 hours per week
Day shift: Monday through Thursday, 8-4:30pm
No weekends or on-call
Location: Nags Head, NC
