Position Summary
The Manager provides day-to-day management of application support for ECU Health's System, as well as other ancillary systems as defined. In collaboration with IT and ECU Health IS management, provides direction for supporting and constantly improving the production application. This position requires the ability to oversee the controls and processes in place to provide a highly available and reliable system, as well as constantly improving operational capabilities.
The Manager implements solutions incorporating an exceptional level of communication and organizational skills among IS technical and application staff. This position requires the ability to understand the needs and expectations of the application user community. This position requires an understanding of ECU Health and ECU operating unit strategic goals, as well as the ability to work with subject matter experts to plan and execute business initiatives in alignment with those goals. This position requires a person who can work within an integrated group, and can manage and mentor personnel with diverse backgrounds and knowledge. The manager must be detail, action, solution and results oriented and must demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgment in managing the production environment.
