Position Summary
The Assistant Laboratory Manager supervises daily laboratory activities and personnel in the are of responsibility (e.g., writing procedures, employee scheduling, laboratory inspections, Quality Control, new instrument setup ad correlation, proficiency testing, employee evaluations and disciplinary coaching, and other special assignments). Recommends personnel for hiring and/or termination. Will perform clinical laboratory testing when routine bench load warrants 50% of the time and assist with employee training and competency. Assumes responsibilities of the manager in their absence. Will assist with budget preparation.
Minimum Requirements
Four (4) years of current/related clinical laboratory experience is required.
