Position Summary

Professional Development Associate I contributes to the overall functioning of a continuing education/professional development department in a substantive, measurable way with the goal of advancing the mission of ECU Health.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with professional development teams to support seamless coordination of practice transition programs.
  • Communicate with internal and external key stakeholders regarding professional development initiatives. 
  • May assist professional development teams and department leadership with administrative functions (i.e travel and expense reporting and time and attendance)
  • Coordinate student experiences and brand recognition to sustain a pipeline of future nursing and allied health professionals.
  • Assist with coordination of interprofessional healthcare teams for integrated delivery of professional development initiatives.
  • Design and develop engaging and interactive educational content that leverages multimedia tools, digital platforms, and emerging technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Utilize technology platforms such as learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning software to design and build education and competency management tools.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates degree is required
  • Microsoft Office Suite expert level experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • 1 to 2 years related work experience is required
