Position Summary

BMET Trainee completes performance, assurance & safety inspections on medical equipment, and assists in maintaining and repairing selected pieces of medical equipment. Maintains proper documentation in compliance with Joint Commission and other AHJ's.

Responsibilities

  • Completes performance, assurance and safety inspections on medical equipment using a computerized safety analyzer.
  • Assists in maintaining and repairing selected pieces of medical equipment
  • Assists in the installation and calibration of selected pieces of medical equipmet.
  • Maintains proper documentation in compliance with Joint Commission and other AHJ's utilizing a unique maintenance software.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus 1 to 2 years formal education/training- or higher.
  • Must have Electronics Experience and training or actively being educated in the field of electronics.
