Position Summary
Multi-site operational responsibility. Management accountability and decision-making authority for determining the strategies, interventions and activities that will be effective and appropriate to further enable the Office of Experience (OX) and Language Access Services to refine and improve patient and family experiences. Accountable for ensuring performance of the department in accordance with OX strategic plan, goals and stewardship responsibilities. Communicates key management decisions and informs department leadership of issues affecting department performance. Facilitates development of and adjustments to work plans, work processes, budgets, staffing levels, and other resources needed to deliver services that meet expectations of the department. Facilitates change to advance the organization and uses resources and operational practices to drive execution of plans. Ensures that policies, procedures and practices are followed to support a culture of excellent experience and safety, evidence based care, high reliability, performance improvement and transparency. Accountable for a positive organizational culture in decision making and performance management to influence team member behaviors and engagement. Key liaison between the leadership teams and team members of the health care facility and programs.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Health care, Human Services or other related field preferred.
Master's degree is preferred.
3 years leadership or supervision required.
3 years medical interpreter required.
5 years healthcare experience preferred.
National Certification as a Certified Medical Interpreter or Certified Healthcare Interpreter is required within 1 year of hire.
Valid driver's license required. Travel across service area is required to meet needs.
