About ECU Health Physicians

ECU Health Physicians is multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.

Position Summary

  • Experienced RN to provide comprehensive, patient-focused, individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to help overcome healthcare system barriers.
  • The Nurse Navigator will provide education and resources to facilitate informed decision making and timely access to quality healthcare and department related services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current North Carolina (NC) Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • 3-5 years clinical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Organized, can multi-task, analytical, time management.
  • Work well under stress and be able to provide emotional support.
  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written skills, strong organizational skills, strong leadership and interpersonal skills. The candidate must work well in teams and autonomously. Basic working knowledge of managed care, insurance coverage, and departmental procedures, but can be taught on the job.

Other Information

  • Location: ECU General Surgery (outpatient) - Greenville, NC 
  • This position is full-time (40 hrs/week) - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm 
  • No nights, call or weekends
