About ECU Health Duplin Hospital

ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.

Position Summary

• The Manager will serve an essential role as a teacher, trainer, mentor, and role model for employees.
• The Manager will combine passion for teaching and clinical expertise with outstanding leadership abilities to effectively oversee the educational requirements.
• The manager will also ensure appropriate systems are in place to meet Joint Commission and other regulatory agency standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Current North Carolina RN license
• BSN required - or higher.
• Master's degree in Nursing Education preferred
• Minimum five years of health care experience plus two years experience teaching adults.
• Nursing Professional Development Certification is preferred

• Location/Department: ECU Health Duplin (Kenansville, NC) - Center for Learning and Performance 
• This leadership position is full-time (40 hrs/week) - day shift
