Position Summary
Project management of all aspects of design, construction, and renovation projects for ECU Health.
Responsibilities
1. Programming: Establish User Groups, define scope, schedule, and budget.
2. Schematic Design: Oversee development of site plans, floor plans., outline specifications, and user group activities.
3. Design Development: Refine site and building element designs, refine schedule and budget, and oversee user group activities.
4. Construction documents: Oversee construction drawing and specification completion, review final plans and specifications, facilitate AHJ submittals, validate scope, schedule, and budget.
5. Bids, Approval, and Contract: Contractor selection, Prebid conference, receipt of construction bids, validate scope, schedule and budget, recommendation for award, contract creation.
6. Construction: Construction management, ILSM-Infection Control, site observations, OAC meetings, RFI's, CPR's, obtain Certificate of Occupancy and DHSR/DOI approval. Facilitate occupancy, contract cloeout, and warranty activities.
7. Supervising Project Manager's activities.
Minimum Requirements
4 yr college degree- or higher.
10 years experience may substitute for education.
5 years of related work experience. Prefer greater than 10 years experience in Project Management in architecture, engineering, or construction specific to healthcare.
