At ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic - Kinston, doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants with years of experience caring for the community, work together to offer convenient, patient-centered care.

Position Summary

The Phlebotomist  is responsible for providing professional and courteous service to all patients, visitors, and employees of our facility. As a  Phlebotomist, you will perform certain clinical tasks that  has been approved to perform through an educational or clinical check-off by a qualified member of the staff to include specimen collection and patient education. In addition to this, you will be responsible for all clerical duties associated with maintaining a well-organized laboratory.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Higher
  • Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy program with at least two years of experience preferred and ASCP or equivalent certification eligible
  • Computer skills include basic data entry and word processing
  • Must be able to communicate effectively

Preferred:

  • Two years secretarial experience in a medical facility 
  •  Excel, Powerpoint, and Access experience

Other Information

  • 36 hours a week
  • Monday - Thursday (8 am - 5 pm)
  • Friday (8 am - 12 pm)
