About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville. The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. The facility also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.

Position Summary

• Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.
• Participates in the assessment of patients.
• Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care.
• Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development. Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice.
• Participates in Service Excellence Program.

Minimum Requirements

• LPN Diploma
• Active NC LPN License or compact state
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice.

• Location/Unit: ECU Health Beaufort (Washington, NC) - Medical Unit (26 bed unit) 
• This position is full-time night shift  (36 hrs/week with rotating weekends)
