Position Summary
Under the Clinical Supervision of the Radiology Manager. The Mammographer provides safe, expedient, cost-effective Radiology services. As a member of a team of health care professionals, a Mammographer is responsible for the operation of the mammography imaging equipment and for performing examinations., quality control of the equipment and follow up of positive mammograms The Mammographer demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age, disease process and cultural/spiritual needs of the patient in a variety of clinical settings. Mammographers behave in a manner consistent with the standards and ethics of all health care professionals. The Mammographer must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Participate in call rotation. Rotate holiday coverage.
Minimum Requirements
Associates Degree: Associate in Applied Science, Radiologic Technology, ARRT Registered in Radiology. Mammography registered preferred.
Prefer previous experience but will hire new graduate
CPR upon hire.
Must be ARRT registered in Radiography and Mammography, if new graduate must be registered in Mammography within 3 months
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Department: ECU Health Women's Care Washington.
Shift: Mon.-Fri, 8am-5pm with one day off per week (4 day work week).
Weekends: No.
On-Call: No.
