ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.

Ahoskie, NC is ideally located an hour from the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area and two hours from Raleigh, Richmond, Williamsburg, and the beautiful Outer Banks of NC. Ahoskie offers a moderate cost of living, a strong sense of community, and a temperate climate and location to support a variety of year round outdoor activities, such as boating, kayaking, hunting, fishing, hiking, and golf.

Position Summary

The Environmental Services Floor Technician ensures the delivery of safe, clean and infection-free environment to ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital patients and patrons.

Minimum Requirements

• At least six months of Floor Care in either Housekeeping, Hotel Cleaning, or Industrial Cleaning

Other Information

• This is a PRN, As Needed position

• Primarily Evening Shifts (required to work other shift hours, as needed)

• Required to work rotational weekends
