ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic Washington combines local doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who have years of experience caring for the community, with a brand new state-of the-art medical facility offering integrated, convenient and patient-centered care.

Position Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), you will:

  • Prepare patient specimens as required for laboratory testing
  • Perform laboratory tests and monitor test results to assure test quality and validity
  • Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient
  • Maintain properly documented records of activities
  • Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus 2 years or more of formal training or education (Specify: Medical Laboratory Technician)
  • Less than 1 year of experience 
  • ASCP or equivalent certification desirable

Other Information

  • 20 hours a week
  • Primary Weekends
  • Sat and Sun (8am - 2pm) and 1 shift during week (8am - 5pm)
