Position Summary
Responsible for administering diagnostic and habilitative/ rehabilitative services to patients referred for services and maintaining records pertinent to such services. Observes, evaluates and documents diagnostic and treatment effects. Consults with supervisor on all pertinent matters for program and professional development (i.e. research projects, expansion of programs, record keeping, policies and procedures, etc.). Will also be involved in team dynamics and participate in interdisciplinary activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology OR Master's degree in Communication Science and Disorders is required.
Less than three years of licensure
Current Speech Language Pathology License issued by NCBOESLPA is required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology awarded by ASHA is required, or must be obtained within one year of hire.

Weekday position with weekend and holiday rotation
Position is for a pediatric therapist to see ages, birth to 18 years for speech therapy services (cognition, language, swallowing) in the Children's Hospital as well as inpatient rehab.
