Pathology Librarian will coordinate the retrieval of blocks and slides that will assist with Medicaid/Medicare billing compliance rules relating to outpatient versus inpatient status and discharge dates. This position will maintain the database of dates for send-out requests and receipt of returned materials. The Pathology Librarian will serve as the keeper of the slides/blocks and will perform all tasks related to filing, retrieving, recording and information relating to the services that utilize them. Perform all duties related to providing/recording blocks and slides for tumor board and consults and other duties as assigned or needed.
High School and Associates Degree required- or higher.
