Position Summary
The ECU Health Pharmacy Business Manager oversees the accurate and timely financial management of the Pharmacy Department in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. This person is responsible for oversight of medication ordering, compliance with purchasing contracts, billing integrity, and development of strategies to meet budgetary goals. In addition, this individual is involved in ECU Health 340b program. The ECU Health Pharmacy Business Manager reports to the Chief Pharmacy Officer and supervises personnel in the Pharmacy Business Office.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business or Health Care Administration, Finance, Accounting, Pharmacy (PharmD), or a related field is required
Master's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting and/or CPA are preferred.
Three or more years of relevant health care finance or pharmacy administration experience is required in order to gain competency in applying general accounting principles, financial management, and business practices.
Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential. Mastery of MS Office and advanced analytical reporting ability are highly desirable.
Pharmacy procurement, financial operations and 340B spit billing knowledge and experience is strongly preferred.
