About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville. The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. The facility also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.

Position Summary

Under direct supervision, the Manager of Radiology coaches and supports staff to ensure the provision of safe, quality, patient-family centered services for all activities within department.

Responsible for assisting the with departmental operations including decision-making, planning, and is accountable for achieving goals, results, and outcomes.

The Manager of Radiology assists in the oversight, development, and evaluation of employees and is responsible for ongoing staff development.

The Manager of Radiology is required to provide various types of documentation, which may include legal information related to events, performance issues, and evaluations. All documentation must be factual, accurate, complete, organized and timely.

The Manager of Radiology behavior is consistent with standards of performance and ethics of leadership professionals.

Under the direction and guidance, the Manager of Radiology will assist in operating the department in accordance with mission, vision, values.

The Manager of Radiology will assist with developing the department strategic framework, budget and policies and maintaining compliance with all external regulatory guidelines and requirements.

The Manager of Radiology will obtain education and understanding of all disciplines within Radiology.

The Manager of Radiology collaborates with colleagues, assuring communication of activities and utilizing resources as appropriate, as requested.

The Manager of Radiology collaborates with staff within Radiology areas to help ensure the provision and coordination of services. The Manager of Radiology participates with employees and departmental leaders, and provides input into the organizations decision-making structures and processes, and strategic planning activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate Degree or higher
  • Five to seven years related experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
