ECU Health Physicians is multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina.
Perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.
HS graduate or equivalent (or higher) required.
One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training preferred.
Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Location: Internal Medicine Edenton 105 Mark Drive.
This is a PRN position without benefits.
Shift: Days, as needed, Tuesday, Thursday's and Fridays.
May be called in on short notice for call outs at other clinics on Monday's and Wednesday's.
