About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville. The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. The facility also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.

Position Summary

  • Basic patient care
  • Process radiographs
  • Prepare  and sort films
  • Order/maintain supplies
  • Sterile techniques
  • Answers phones/takes messages
  • Assists technologists and physicians
  • Utilize RMS, PC, computer terminals
  • Maintain patient logs
  • Work in various areas of the department.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or equivalent- or higher.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support issued by the American Heart Association is required.
  • 1 - 2 years experience as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Escorter or other patient care experience is required.

Other Information

  • PRN (as needed)
  • Primary Shift: 12 hour shifts; Primarily weekends
  • Radiology-Diagnostic Department
