Position Summary
Perform invasive/non invasive ultrasound procedures, doppler vascular examinations, deep abdominal studies and color-flow ultrasound as required. Assist with performing Ultrasound guided endovenous ablations on lower extremeties of patients with reduced blood flow.
Responsibilities
1. Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
2. Works effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
3. Appropriate clinical assessment of patients.
4. Perform the following studies :Carotid duplex
Graft flow duplex,Ultrasound Guided venous ablation
Lower and upper extremity arterial duplex,
Lower extremity venous duplex with standing reflux, Pre-dialysis arterial/venous mapping duplex, Abdominal vascular duplex including aorta, mesenteric, renal and venous duplex, Physiologic non-imaging arterial evaluation (PVR, segmental wave forms, treadmill exercise testing, thoracic outlet evaluation.)
5. Give precise/summarized patient report to provider.
6. Promotes and maintains a safe work environment for both staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
7. Maintain an efficient flow of patients throughout the course of the scheduled day.
