ECU Health Bertie Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 6-bed critical access hospital in Windsor. It is closely affiliated with ECU Health Medical Center and the telemedicine resources of The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. The hospital offers high quality surgical, emergency and diagnostic services, as well as specialty and primary care clinics.
Position Summary
The Nursing Assistant performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAI listing granted by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services.
Minimum Requirements
High School or GED is preferred- or higher.
NAI listing with NC Department of Health and Human Services is required.
Experience in a comparable facility can only be substituted for NA I course by successful completion of challenge exam acceptable to the NC Department of Health and Human Services is required.
Current American Heart Association HeartSaver certification is required.
Other Information
PRN without benefits.
Shift: 12 hour shifts, as needed.
Includes holidays and weekends.
