Position Summary
The Retail Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the overall operation of ECU Health retail pharmacies, including personnel management, fiscal oversight, provision of quality pharmaceutical care, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and strategic planning for growth of the retail or specialty pharmacy.
Responsibilities
Responsible for provision of pharmaceutical services to customers.
Responsible for conducting all personnel evaluations and addressing personnel issues.
Responsible for insuring compliance with regulatory (DEA, FDA and NCBOP) standards.
Responsible for insuring provision of quality pharmaceutical products and services.
Develops long term goals and strategies for growth of VH retail pharmacies.
Plans and implements new strategies/services to enhance pharmaceutical care to customers.
Develops, updates and enforces policies and procedures for VH retail pharmacies.
Insures orientation and competency of new employees.
Develops budget for VH retail pharmacies and monitors adherence to budget on a routine basis.
Provides reports to Pharmacy Administrator or designee on accomplishments.
Evaluates customer and employee satisfaction and takes action to improve experience/working environment.
Interfaces with key business partners to evaluate retail pharmacy metrics and implement new programs to enhance pharmaceutical care and achieve VH financial goals.
Minimum Requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
B.S. Pharmacy
NC Pharmacy license
At least one year of managerial experience in retail Pharmacy operations required.

ECU Health Medical Center is looking for an experienced and energetic Pharmacy Manager to lead our busy Outpatient Pharmacy. Located within the Medical Center, this Pharmacy team of eleven provides dispensing of prescriptions for patients discharged from the Medical Center, including a Meds to Beds program
This position is full time with benefits
Day shift - 8 hours
Manager works morning from 8:30am up to 6:30pm and on weekends
