About ECU Health Home Health and Hospice
ECU Health provides home health and hospice care in 20 counties across eastern North Carolina. Services are coordinated from offices in Ahoskie, Greenville, Kenansville, Washington and Windsor. In addition, ECU Health operates the Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice, an 8-bed facility for patients who require a higher level of hospice care than can be provided at home.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for the coordination of all assigned patient billing activity and procedures as they relate to patient admission, financial management, document tracking, billing, and collections for home health and hospice products and services.
Minimum Requirements
High School and Associate Degree in business, accounting, or health related field required- or higher.
Minimum of 2-3 years billing and/or reimbursement experience required; home care experience preferred. One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of the required education with a maximum substitution of two years.
Experience with electronic claim preparation and submission preferred.
Collections and accounts receivables reporting experience preferred
