Position Summary
To provide on-site leadership, training, and communication regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays to staff in compliance with departmental policies, the Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards. Provides operations support and assists Departmental Manager to lead daily operations in the Sterile Processing Department.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Associates degree is preferred.
Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) is preferred.
5 years of Sterile Processing experience is required.
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) certification as Technician, Surgical Instrument Specialist, Ambulatory Service Technician or Management is required.

Night shift (11p-7a)
Weekend rotation: On call every 4th wekend with rotating holidays
Must have Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) certification
