About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center

ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville. The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. The facility also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant II performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAII listing granted by the NC Board of Nursing. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active NAI listing with NC Department of Health & Human Services  is required
  • Active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing is required
  • Current American Heart Association HeartSaver certification is required

Preferred Requirements

  • 1+  year NAII experience in acute hospital
  • 1+ year NAII experience in skilled care/nursing home
  • 1+ year NAII experience in nursing home
  • High School or GED is preferred- or higher
     

Other Information

  • Shift(s): 12 hours
  • Days: 7:00am - 7:00pm
  • Weekend duty: Yes, every other weekend 
  • Central Staffing Department
