ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville. The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. The facility also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.
Position Summary
Assistant Manager Respiratory Care, are needed to assist the Respiratory Care Manager with duties in a department of 115 employees. The Assistant Respiratory Care Manager is responsible for coordinating, evaluating, providing and improving patient care in the department of Respiratory Care. She/he is able to foster clinical growth of other staff through educational efforts. She/he is able to identify needs of Respiratory Care patients and to implement strategies to address those identified needs. She/he is able to serve as a patient care consultant for Respiratory patients. The Assistant will assist the Manager with planning, organizing and directing all activities of Respiratory Care services at VMC.
