The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for the assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient care. As a Physical Therapist, you will use purposeful activity or interventions to promote health and achieve functional outcomes by developing, improving and restoring the highest level of independence of any individual who is limited by a physical injury or illness, a developmental or learning disability or an adverse environmental condition. You will also be responsible for the teaching, delegating to or supervising other personnel in implementing the treatment regimen. The PT is directly accountable to the manager for the quality of patient care delivered. You will modify and deliver care that is specific to the age, growth, and development of patients according to departmental scope of services.
