About ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital

ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital is a full-service, 117-bed acute care facility where residents of Tarboro and the surrounding communities can receive a wide range of health services close to home. As part of the ECU Health system of care, the hospital offers high quality care provided by more than 20 medical specialists, rehabilitation services, a birthing center, a cancer center, outpatient clinics and more.

 

Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant II (NA II) performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NAII listing granted by the NC Board of Nursing. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or GED is preferred or Higher
  • Active NAI listing with NC Department of Health & Human Services  
  • Active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing 
  • Current American Heart Association HeartSaver certification

Other Information

  • 36 hours a week
  • Required to work 3 (12 hr. shifts): 6:45 pm - 7:15 am
  • Rotational Weekends
  • Great Benefits
