At ECU Health Womens Care Ahoskie, we understand womens health and have teams across the region who are trained to provide expert, compassionate care for all stages of life. From adolescence, family planning and maternity care to perimenopause and menopause management, we have you covered through every life stage.

Position Summary

As an Medical Assistant, you will perform clinical support services, assist with secretarial/clerical duties and maintain patient care documentation in medical records.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School, Equivalent, or higher
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Substitution: Formal medical assistant or nursing aide training may be substituted with six months current full time experience in the clinical setting as a Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or CNA

Preferred:

One to two years of formal medical assistant or nurse aide training

Other Information

  • 40 hours a week
  • Monday - Thursday (8 am - 5 pm)
  • Friday (8 am - 4 pm)
