Position Summary

1. Coordination of the Perspective Payment System process for the rehabilitation units.

2. Planning and development of documentation systems that support documentation consistent with all regulatory bodies.

3. Serves as a clinical resource for PPS regulation and compliance, coding, and billing related to the IRF-PAI, and CMS.

4. Coordinate initial and ongoing education to the interdisciplinary teams related to evidence-based documentation and the IRF Quality Indicators.

5. Promotes collaboration and communication within all disciplines within the inpatient rehabilitation units, with the admissions team, rehabilitation program leadership, attendings, residents, and HIMS

Minimum Requirements

Licensed registered nurse, occupational therapist, physical therapist, or speech language pathologist in the state of NC.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IRF setting is required. CRRN certification can be substituted for 1 year of experience.

Full time with benefits.  Monday to Friday
